Eddie Martinez

Eddie J. Martinez, 89, passed away on March 6th at Henderson Hospital of acute respiratory due to Alzheimers Dementia. Eddie was born Feb. 9,1932 in Monte Vista, Colorado. He left Colorado to be with his cousin in Utah. After many years in Utah he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1970 to follow his brother. He was an auto mechanic for many years. Then he went to work for the North Las Vegas Water District in utility maintenance until his retirement. He spent his final years with his beloved wife and family enjoying the outdoors and caring fors his fur babies and beautiful gardens.

Eddie is survived by his daughter Christina and son-in-law Ted Reynolds. Grandson Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Deanna Reynolds. Great Granddaughter Rylee Grace Reynolds and soon to be Great Grandson Matthew M. Reynolds. Brother Ross and Marcella Martinez and Family. Sister Catherine Chavez and Family. Sister-in-law Katie Martinez and Family. Brother-in-law Albert Espinosa, Kristy and Family. Sister-in-law Cathy Carpenter and Family. Sister-in-law Casey Espinosa and Family. And, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins in Utah, Colorado, and California. He Loved all of them dearly.

Eddie was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Margie. His son Chuc Martinez and his grandson Matthew Mark Reynolds. His parents Zaric and Sara Martinez. Brothers Phil Martinez Dario Martinez and sister in law Lucy Martinez. Sisters Lupe Archuleta and Mary and brother in law Levi Manzancz. Step Father Louis Martinez. Eddie will be missed by good friends Nick and Yaneth Davies, Don and Debbie Meyers, John and Judy Moore, Kenny and Cathy Johnson. May he rest in peace.

Services will be held privately on April 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
