Edward Jesus Mederos

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, Edward Jesus Mederos, loving father of four children, passed away at the young age of 48, in Las Vegas, NV.

Eddie was born on January 2, 1970, in Los Angeles, CA to Eliseo Mederos and Juana Ramirez. Upon graduating high school, Eddie enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1988 and served honorably until 1993. During his five years as a United States Marine, Eddie deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Desert Shield, and was awarded the Kuwait Liberation Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal and the National Defense Medal. Following his military service, Eddie received his Bachelor of Science in Information System Security, and obtained a job as a Network Operations Supervisor with Switch (Data Centers) in Las Vegas, NV.

For Eddie, the most important aspect in life was family.

Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Juana Ramirez. He is survived by his father Eliseo Mederos, his son Gabriel Edward Mederos, his significant other Anita Ruiz, and their three children Aria Marie Mederos, George Edward Mederos, and Alexander Eliseo Mederos.

A funeral service will be held at 1:20pm on Thursday January 3rd, 2019, at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Cemetery on 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive Boulder City, NV 89005.
