Edward William Theis was a loving and devoted husband and great father. He had many passions which included his babied Camaro SS, surfing, his motorcycle, boating, shooting his guns, and watching Nascar.
He was born to William and Rosemary Theis and met Sylvia Ostroski while at a bowling alley while he was in the Marine Corps. He had a strong love for country and his family. He married Sylvia in 1973 and they remained married up until his passing on December 23, 2018. He had two sons names Martin and Michael.
We enjoyed many great times and shared many memories while vacationing at our family cabin in Upstate New York and weekends on our boat. He worked in the Empire State Building for all of his career and loved what he did. He worked very hard for his family so that we all had the best things in life.
He will be very much missed by his family who loved him very much. He memory will be carried on and his passion for Nascar will be continued with annual trips to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway made by his kids and grandkids.
We love you very much Dad and we will always remember you. The Theis name carries on. We know that once a marine always a marine. We are comforted to know that you are standing guard at the pearly white gates of heaven protecting those you loved and held dear.
