Edwin N. Wathen

U.S. Air Force Veteran 19551975
Edwin N Wathen passed away unexpectedly December 30,2011 at the age of 74. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky July 21, 1937 to the late George Wathen and Mattie Holmes.

He resided in Las Vegas, Nevada for 36 years. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Edwin served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He also retired from the State of Nevada as an investigator for State Industrial Insurance Systems.

He loved to fish and traveling to National Parks all over the country. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren especially the little sugar bear Alice Kim Wathen . He devoted a lot of his time working with The Korean Gospel Church as a driver picking up and dropping off students and the elderly.

He is survived by Chong Ok Wathen wife Alex Wathen son Chan Wathen son Jackie Wathen Jackson daughter and Edwin Wathen Jr. son.

He was preceded in death by his brother Bob in January 2005.
