Efren Malimban

October 28, 1940 — December 1, 2020

Our dear brother in Christ, Efren Del Rosario Malimban, 80 years old, passed away unexpectedly on December 1st, 2020 at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Efren was born in Maragondon, Cavite, Philippines to Jose Malimban, Jr. and Martina Del Rosario on October 28th, 1940. He was the sixth of ten siblings.
He graduated at Roosevelt High School and attended the University of the East - Manila. He married his wife Zenaida Aguilar on March 30th, 1964. He worked for his eldest brother Coya’s company (Arm & Hammer) for a little while. He also served as a barangay official in the Philippines.
On July 1997, immigrating from the Philippines to the United States started another chapter in Efren’s life. As a devoted father and a loving grandfather, he endured many years of working in the United States while thousands of miles away from his children. He was a hardworking father who was willing to work odd shifts and had sacrificed countless holidays to earn a living so he can share them to his children back home. He was a generous grandfather who took great pride in his grandchildren. Also, his welcoming personality has earned him many friends everywhere he had been to. Efren will be deeply missed by his friends, coworkers, and our entire family.
Efren was preceded in death by five older siblings: Florante Malimban Sr., Luzviminda Malimban, Rodolfo Malimban, Napoleon Malimban, Sr., and Ruben Malimban
He was survived by four younger siblings ~ Oscar Malimban, Ederlinda Delmundo, Merly Malimban, and Romulo Malimban; six children ~ Evelyn Malimban, Elinor Angeles, Erlina Malimban, Erika Malimban, Elisa Malimban, and Erwina Fallarme; and eight grandchildren ~ Laarni Vicencio, Denise Angeles, Daryl Angeles, Denielle Angeles, Martin Malimban, Francis Flores, Ethan Fallarme, and Erin Fallarme.

A Viewing will be held on December 12th, 2020 ~ Saturday (3 PM to 5 PM) at Davis Funeral Homes (1401 S. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas NV 89146). A Funeral Mass will be held on December 14th, 2020 ~ Monday (10 AM to 11 AM) at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church (7260 W. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas NV 89117)
