Elena Teresa Rodriguez

Elena Teresa Rodriguez, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully during a nap July 2, 2014. Elena was born at 10:24 a.m. Jan. 8, 2014, to Adrianna Gilbert and Nicky Rodriguez, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. She is survived by her siblings, Danny, Jayline, Deangelo, Delilah and Ethan maternal grandparents, Susie Lopez and Edward Gilbert of Las Vegas paternal grandparents, Maria and Nicholas Rodriguez of Barstow, Calif. aunts and uncles, Angellica Gilbert, Gabriella Gilbert, Eddie Gilbert Jr., Ricky Thomas Rodriquez and Michael Rinson greatgrandparents, Juanita and Jesus Ponce and Gene and Terese Gilbert. Elenas life, although brief, was one filled with love every day. That love will go on as her heart was donated. She was with us for only 154 days, but left us with a lifetime of memories. Viewing will be 58 p.m. Wednesday, July 9. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 10, both at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119. Wake will follow at 2 p.m. at 5077 Sun Valley Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89122.
