Elizabeth Janelle Hayes

Elizabeth Janelle Hayes, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on 7/18/2023 in Las Vegas, NV.

Elizabeth was born in Parma, OH to DiAnn and James Hayes in 1984.

She attended Valley Forge High School, joined the US Army and excelled with the 173^rd Airborne Sky Soldiers and was stationed in Germany and later Afghanistan for Enduring Freedom.  Liz had a deep love for animals.   Upon separation from the military Liz enrolled in veterinarian studies and graduated from Bradford College, Columbus OH.  While living in Las Vegas worked as a vet tech and loved working with animals.

Liz is survived by two sons, Zander and Jaxon, brothers Richard and Alexander, her sister Tricia, her mother DiAnn Lawson, and father James Hayes.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, August 31, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.  She will be interred at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City on September 5, 2023.

Services will be conducted by the Chaplin Bob Nycek of the Nevada State Veterans Home.
