Ella Nelson

Ella Mae Nelson,91, passed away on July 13, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ella Mae was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry and Leona Oar on August 3, 1931.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob.

She is survived by her 5 children, 20 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Viewing will be Monday July 24th at 10:00 with the funeral to follow at 11:00. It will be held at the LDS Church at 1825 N. Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV.

Ella Mae lived and married in Ely, NV before moving to Las Vegas.

She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in many callings. She was also a Temple Worker and loved being in the Temple. She was a Seminary teacher, and also loved Girls Camp. She served a mission to Salt Lake City and she was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved dancing and performing with her clogging groups. She was an excellent seamstress and made several beautiful wedding dresses.

The family of Ella Mae wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all those who have been so kind to our mom for all of her 91 years. We love you and she loved you very much.
