Emilio Alcantar

Emilio Alcantar,88 of Las Vegas passed away on January 12, 2021, he was born on December 17, 1932, in Michoacán Mexico to parents Arnulfo Alcantar and Catalina Nepomuceno.

Emilio met his wife Esperanza and married in 1955, He immigrated to Los Angeles California in the 70’

And worked in various jobs to bring his family to the United States. He moved to Las Vegas NV, in 1993 and become a member of Labore’s union local 872 until his retirement. He lived a full happy and healthy life with his wife of more than 65 years.

Emilio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved traveling to Mexico, listening to music, gardening, and food.

He enjoyed hamburgers and red wine on weekends with his people as he called his family. “Estoy con mi gente” he would say when everyone will gather around. He will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.

Emilio is survived by his wife Esperanza: his sons Artemio, Hector, and Ezequiel: his daughters Domitila and Virginia. 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
