Eric M. Goodspeed

Eric Michael Goodspeed, 29, of Las Vegas slipped away from us on January 9, 2016. He was the son of Anita Lynn and Arthur Mitchell Goodspeed born on August 13, 1986 in Las Vegas and has been a Las Vegan all his life. He was lost due to a heart issue.

He had the kindest heart. He was always too busy to do what was best for him. He started electrical school, but didn't get to finish. He was going back in January. He wanted to go back to follow in his grandfather's footsteps. His grandfather was an electrician. He thought he could do anything, that was due to the confidence his father instilled in him. His brothers were very supportive and they spent as much time as they could together. His brother joined the service and Eric enjoyed the time he spent at his brother's military graduation and primary base.

He was a brilliant negotiator and loved golf, working on cars with his dad, and going to the shooting range with his brothers every chance they got to get together.

He is survived by his parents, two younger brothers, Andrew (Angela) and Jonathan, his grandparents Teodoro and Isidra Castrejon and Charles and Mary Ann Prohaska, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He helped make us strong and will be missed dearly and we want to give him the best send off for his journey home. He will always be in our prayers and in our thoughts daily and with everything we do. He was a big kid till the end.

The family is accepting donations to help pay for Eric's funeral. The title of the fund is called ""Eric's fund"".

Note from mom: Eric, we will never forget about you. You will be in everything we do. You will be in our heads when we close our eyes, you will be in our dreams at night. There is not going to ever be a way to fill the big empty hole in our hearts. You were taken away from us way too soon and we will never heal. I only wish I could give you one more big hug and let you know how much I love you. We will all be there with Ninja Turtles in our pockets to be strong for you.
