Eugene H. Kipfer

Eugene Gene Howard Kipfer, 87, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, De Lima Campus, in Henderson. Gene married Iva Henry July 4, 1979. They were married for 28 years until her passing, Dec. 16, 2007. Gene was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He worked for Lyons Trucking as a long distance truck driver and after his retirement he drove for a tour bus company that took Las Vegas visitors on tours to Boulder Dam and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. He will be remembered for his kind nature and willingness to help those he loved. He is survived by his son, Marcus Tillman and his grandson, Joshua I. Tillman of Las Vegas.
