Mrs. Evangelina “Eva” Diaz–Davis died peacefully in her loving Las Vegas home on July 10, 2019, at the age of 95. She was a Gracious Wife, Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Devoted Friend, and Prayer Warrior. Born in Havana Cuba in 1923, Eva had dreams of coming to America and independently fulfilled her dream in 1948. Soon after she married the love of her life, Mr. Ralph Davis and they settled in Chicago. Together they assisted many Cubans seeking refuge during the Cuban Revolution with finding jobs, housing or getting around the city. Eva was also a very talented seamstress who made one of a kind garments for prestigious people in Chicago as well as Las Vegas.
