Evangelina Castro

Evangelina Castro, 78, passed away on, January 21, 2018 in Las Vegas.

As Mama Castro says, when Saint Peter and Paul find the keys to Heaven she will go.

Yes, she is in Heaven with her two sons, Henry and Richard Castro. Evangelina was married to Henry Castro for 55 years. She is survived by daughter Veronica Rogers. Grandkids Mason, Savanah, Sophia and Joslyn Maras. Brothers Ray Aavelands, Jess and Gilbert Bernal and sister Romelia Evans.

Evangelina was a Banker for 18 years. Worked for WIC program in California and Nevada 23 years. She also worked Security for We Serve and Cop Security and Ushered for Thomas and Mack for 25 years.
Evangelina was a 45-year Cancer survivor, she was Honored in 2014. She had Guillain-Barre Syndrome in 2009 and was on Dialysis 3 x week, diabetic, had Rotor Cuff on her right shoulder in 2014 then reconstructive surgery in 2017, Dr said this was the hardest one he has done, she suffered so much pain, spent 30 days in Rehab, after Thanksgiving went back into the Hospital Rehab and then onto Hospice. They stopped Dialysis and she passed away on January 21, 2018.

Her viewing will be held on January 30, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89119. Funeral Mass will be held on January 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052. Burial will be following at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 S Eastern Ave. Las Vegas NV 89119.
