Felixberto Martinez

It is our heavy heart to announce the passing of our dear father Felixberto Mintu Martinez.   He passed away at the age of 64 on March 25, 2023, due to heart complications. Felixberto Mintu Martinez was on born January 30, 1959 in Calibuyo, Tanza, Cavite. He was the second living child of Florencio Martinez and Gregoria Mintu.

He and his wife, Violy, were blessed with five children named Gay, Philip, Ara, Dunhill, and Genesis, his youngest child, who died in March 1993. This was the lowest point of their parenthood.

“Fely” worked in the United States Embassy in the Philippines for more than twenty years as a Refrigerator and Aircon Maintenance Technician. Due to his exemplary service, he was able to migrate his entire family to the United States in 2007. He was known as “Lolo Fely” to his four grandchildren named Thomas, Cesca, Jaden, and Phranz, which he absolutely adored. To many, Fely is known to be a very generous person and always put others before himself. For him, it was a self-fulfillment when he was able to provide assistance to anyone who was in need. He loved to give groceries and extend financial help to his relatives and friends, especially the elderlies without expecting anything in return. He loved watching basketball games, especially the Golden State Warriors, and solving Sodoku puzzles. Papa Fely will be missed definitely by those who knew him.
