Florence B. Penn

Florence B. Penn was born in August 26th, 1927 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She passed away early in the morning on Easter Sunday, April 24th, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband and our father Norman Penn Sr. in 1991.

She was the youngest of eight children and was the last of them to enter the glorious gates of Heaven.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel Penn, John Penn and David Penn, and one daughter Janice Kardos. She also had 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, who will miss her very much.

Our mother was strong, warm, thoughtful, and giving person and her absence will leave a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. We do celebrate that fact that she knew the Lord Jesus, and believed with all her heart that she would one day have the opportunity to gaze upon His face. Mom also believed that she would once again be with the loved ones she so dearly missed that had gone before her. We are so thankful for this.

We give thanks to God for the time we had with her and for what a wonderful mother and grandmother she was.

Mom, We love you, and will miss you so much, but we also know that we will be together again someday.
