Florida or Eda was born in Mambusao, Capiz, Philippines, and the only child of the late Justiniano and Flora Linda Leria. During her college years, she became the smallest athlete in the sport of track and field. With a height of 4'9", she competed and won medals. "Small but terrible" - that's what they called her. She was married to Eleodoro Launio and blessed with two children and four grandchildren. In 1995, together with her husband, they migrated here to the U.S. She started working as a cook for five years, then after which she worked as a real estate agent from 2002-2007. After ten years staying here in the USA, she was able to petition her children together with her grandchildren. They lived happily here in Las Vegas. But due to health problems, she suffered for a couple of years. It was on September 26, 2020 where she joined our Creator. She was survived by her loving husband, children, and grandchildren.
