Frank Powers Jr.  – May 26th, 1934 – April 13th, 2023

Cristeta Powers – March 14th, 1934 – April 23rd, 2023

Frank Powers, Jr., 88, passed away peacefully on April 13th, 2023, while surrounded by family.  Sadly, his beloved wife of 62 years, Cristeta Powers, 89, joined him in heaven 10 days after.  Cristeta passed away peacefully at home.

Frank and Cristeta met while Frank was stationed in the Philippines as part of his service in the United States Air Force.  Frank swiftly won Cristeta’s heart, and the two married in 1960 and began their new life together in the United States, settling in Las Vegas.  Following the Air Force, Frank worked in the civil service as Cristeta found a passion in gaming when she ultimately retired as a pit boss at the El Cortez casino.

They are survived by their daughter, Vinabel Powers, grandchildren, Cristina Goffredo (Stephen), and Jaston Powers Stokes, great grandchildren Kailee and Lana Goffredo, and Frank’s faithful dog, Stewie.  Calling hours are between 4-6pm on June 8th at Davis Funeral Homes.  Frank and Cristeta will be peacefully laid to rest together at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV on Friday June 9th at 8am with a celebration of life to follow at their residence.
