Fred Lewis Norwood, Jr.

Visitation for Fred Lewis Norwood, Jr. will be Friday, July 29, 2016 from 5-7 pm. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00 am. Both will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 5975 Clayton Street, North Las Vegas, NV 89031.

Fred passed away July 22, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 64. He was born December 13, 1951 in Rantoul, Illinois, and was a resident of Las Vegas since 1963. He married Wanda Barnum on September 7, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and they were later sealed in St. George Utah Temple on April 8, 1989. He worked as a grocery clerk for most of his life. Fred loved fishing, shooting, genealogy, reading history books, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Lewis Norwood, Sr. and Dorothy Iva Mosley.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Norwood; two daughters, Christina (Cameron) Steinagel, and Alyssa (Jared) Grover; two sisters, Mozella (Edward) Seltzer, and Nancy Curtiss; seven grandchildren, Hailey Steinagel, Payton Steinagel, Taylor Steinagel, Kennady Steinagel, Zeik Grover, Vadie Grover, and Torstun Grover.

Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park located at 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
