Gary L. Long

Gary Leroy Long, 74, of Las Vegas, passed away August 29, 2012. He was born September 30, 1937, in Presque Isle, Maine, raised around the country, and was a 21year resident of Nevada.
He served in the U.S. Army and was an entrepreneur and pool construction company owner.
Gary lived an adventurous and fulfilling life. He was a devoted, loving, kind, generous man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. His charisma, charm, wit and distinct personality blessed the lives of all those he encountered.
Though Gary will forever be missed and always loved by those he left behind, they all take comfort in hearing his famous words, I did it my way. May his blue eyes sparkle forever as he sings his way back into his beloveds arms.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Elizabeth Sylvia Long and his beloved wife, Lynn Long.
Gary is survived by his children grandchildren greatgrandchildren dogs and friends.
Gary will be cremated at Davis Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time.
