Gary Wayne Wood

Gary Wood, 67, of Las Vegas, passed away on September 19, 2017 in Las Vegas. Gary was born in Zionsville, IN to William and Virginia Wood on July 17, 1950.

Gary was married for 47 years to his best friend and love of his life, Sandra Wood. Gary served as a Sergeant in the United States Airforce both domestically and overseas. He loved reading, history, oil painting, cooking, going out and styling hair, and especially loved cruising Lake Havasu on his boat. He owned his own beauty salon in Zionsville, Indiana prior to moving to Las Vegas in 1990. He worked as a slot technician for Anchor Coin, after moving to Las Vegas. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1299 in Lake Havasu, AZ.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents William and Virginia Wood.

Gary is survived by his wife, Sandra Wood, daughter Stephanie (Jason) Cressel, son Aaron (Shelly) Wood, grandchildren: Ashley, Ian, Meredith, Isaac, Diego and cousin Larry Caldwell.
Gary was well loved by his family and will be sorely missed. He brought much laughter and memories to his whole family.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 pm on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Davis Memorial with Father Brian officiating. Refreshments to follow.
