Gaylan H Bradford, 81, born 921933 in Pittsford Michigan. Parents Kenneth and Getrude Bradford, both deceased. He met the love of his life Dorris Jean Foster on a blind date in 1952 and never looked beyond. 56 years of wonderful bliss produced 4 sons: Kevin, a Wycliffe missionary in Cameroon, Africa Todd deceased Lance, local CPA and land developer and Brett, V.P. at Stable Development 4 daughters in law: Quara, Leilani, Jann and Irena and 9 grandchildren: Alexis, Luke, Ashlee, Joshua, Caleb, Brennen deceased, Plami, Edi, and Toni.
Gaylan attended Joseph W. March elementary school in Hillsdale, Michigan and Wickenburg, Arizona Jr. High School, before graduating from Scottsdale, Arizona High School in 1951. He graduated from University of Redlands, California with a B.A. in Human Relations and Sociology, and served in the U.S. Army 19581965 with 445th Civil AffairsMilitary Government as 1st Lieutenant, Counter Insurgency. Gaylan completed the Sears Executive Training Program in Oakland, California and then served as Operations Manager in Klamath Falls Oregon, Indio California, Reno Nevada, and the Boulevard and Meadows Malls in Las Vegas, retiring in 1990. He raised and showed Arabian horses and was an American Horse Show Judge in Arabian, Pinto, Equitation, and Western divisions, and founded the Arabian Horse Breeders Association of Nevada and the Silver Sire Breeders Association. Gaylan was a longtime supporter of the NRA and Oath Keepers of Nevada. An avid Jesus follower, he participated actively in the 1st Baptist Church of Phoenix Arizona, Redlands CA 1st Baptist, Klamath Falls Presbyterian, Reno 1st Baptist and Las Vegas 1st Baptist, and was a charter member of 1st Baptist Church in Palmdale California and Warm Springs Baptist Church in Las Vegas, currently a member of Hope Baptist Church, Las Vegas. He has served as Moderator, Elder, Deacon, Finance Chairman, Building Chairman and Trustee Chairman, has taught Sunday School classes for children, Junior High students and adults for many years, and a small group Bible study host, then teacher since 1986.
Gaylan is now home for eternity with his Lord, ready to welcome all of us who know the Lord Jesus when we arrive. Services will be held at Hope Baptist Church, Las Vegas.

A Celebration Service of his life will be held Saturday, July 19, 2 pm at Hope Church, 850 E Cactus Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89183. Memorial donations can be sent to Hope Church or Grace Church, 252 El Camino Verde Street, Henderson, NV 89074.
