George A. Jensen

George A. Jensen, 75, went to be with the Lord March 8, 2012. He was born in Hayward, California, son of the late Elton and Lucille.

He grew up in California and made the USAF his life career. George served his country proudly for 23 years, choosing Las Vegas as his retirement home for over 30 years.

George had the qualities from The Greatest Generation: faith, love of family, country and fellow man, humility, sacrifice, integrity, kindness, personal responsibility he was a loyal, hardworker, with the importance of values that he passed on to others.

He was preceded in death by his late wife, Ingrid T. Jensen.

A loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, he leaves his daughters, Christine Jensen and Denise Barnes and her husband, Bobby Barnes, of Connecticut four grandchildren, Shannon Barnes Haigler of North Carolina, James Wessley Barnes of Las Vegas, Travis and Trevor Jensen of Connecticut his brother, Roy D. Jensen three nephews and one niece of South Carolina and brother and sisterinlaw, Albert and Christie Frackowiak of Munich, Germany.
