George J. Spath

George Jeffrey Spath, 61, of Las Vegas, died March 14, 2017 in his Las Vegas home. He was known by most as Jeff.

He was born January 29, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA, to George and Delores Spath.

He is survived by his three children, Brett, Daniel, and Sarah; mother, Delores Sunday; sisters, Judy Banks and Susan Fiori; and grandchildren.

He grew up in Pittsburgh, graduating from South Hills HS before getting an associates degree in specialized technology from Penn Technical Institute. He joined the US Air Force in 1976, serving 12 years. He then had a 30-year career in facilities engineering at Caesar's Palace.

He loved technology and photography. He enjoyed working with electronics, taking photographs with his many cameras, spending time outdoors, and putting his many skills to use repairing various mechanical devices.

Visitation will be 2-5pm on Tuesday, March 21st at the Davis Funeral Home on 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will take place at 9:20am on Wednesday, March22, at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, located at 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, in Boulder City.
