George Earnest Stoughton, Sr.

George Stoughton, 85, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was called to his Heavenly home on February 7, 2021. He entered this world on February 17, 1935 in East Los Angeles, California, born to Willard and Georgia Stoughton. He is survived by his sister Judy; his loving wife Connie of 65 years; son George Jr. (Karen); and daughter Betty. Preceded in death by son Chuckie and son-in-law Chuck. George was blessed with many grandchildren, friends, and a loving church community. George spent over 30 years spreading the word of God through the Bible and gospel music with Freedom Ministries, who traveled to care facilities throughout Las Vegas, and traveled on mission trips with River of Life Ministries, for which he attended for over 32 years. George was very humble and highly respected by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
