Georgia Mae Galloway

Georgia Mae Galloway was born to the union of George Thomas and Susie Wesson Thomas on October 22, 1929 in Nashville, AR. She finished school and college in Arkansas. She accepted the Lord at an early age.

Georgia married her high school sweetheart, Lewis Galloway, and their union brought six beautiful children. Being a navy family, they traveled often but settled in Wilmington, CA in 1968. Her family then settled in Long Beach, where she joined St. Luke Holy Baptist Church.

She loved to cook, loved her soap operas, and she was always ready to help anyone in need. She always said that she was ""doing the Lord's work"", and she did it well with so much love.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Anita Toliver and Suzanne Galloway; two sons: George Galloway and Patrick Galloway, two sons deceased: Jackie Galloway and Larry Galloway; 11 grandchildren: Tara, Tanisha, Larrell, Lafeun, Larrin, Tyrell, Lily, Joseph, Travan, Jayden and Patrick Jr.; four great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and a host of extended family and friends.
