Gertrud Delrogh, 89, of Las Vegas, passed away April 19, 2012.
She was born April 19, 1923 in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and was a 40year resident of Nevada. She grew up in Ulm, Germany. She survived the devastation of World War II before moving to the U.S. in 1952. She made her way to Northern California, where she raised four daughters. She moved to Las Vegas in the 1970s with her loving husband, Philip, and worked for the Gaughan family until she was 84.
She became a U.S. citizen in the 1980s, but she always remained a proud German. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip.
Gertrud is survived by her four daughters, Ruth Wilks, Donna Hegardt, Debbie Whitt, and Jo Ann Urata her six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
