Glen Elwood Botts Jr. (72) passed away peacefully March 18, 2020 in Henderson, Nevada after a brief illness.

Glen was born December 10, 1947 in Roanoke, Virginia to Glen and Lettie Botts. He has two brothers Gary Botts of Salem, Virginia and Rodney Botts and spouse Cindy of Gloucester, Virginia.

He leaves behind his wife, Shelby Botts, of 39 years. Glen and Shelby were married December 31, 1981 in Newport News, Virginia. Together they have 5 children: Susan (Botts) Maple and spouse Steve of Bend, Oregon, Eric Botts and spouse Peggy of Phoenix, Arizona, Joni Young of Poquoson, Virginia, Connie Maldonado of Miami, Florida, and Bonnie Jurewicz of Smithfield, Virginia, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Glen was employed as a truck driver most of his life, and retired from Ashley Furniture.

Glen was known for his love of NASCAR, and attended many races throughout the years. He was also known for his generous donations to numerous charities.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Walter Botts, of Salem, Virginia.

Our family is truly grateful for the numerous doctors and nurses at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, Nevada.

Glen will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Always in our thoughts. Forever in our hearts. We love you!
