Gordon M. Stoffer was born in Portland, Oregon on December 5, 1924. He passed away at his home in Henderson, Nevada on the evening of September 23, 2019, at the age of 94. He was a long-time resident of Westlake Village, California, but moved to Henderson to be closer to his son, grandkids and great-grandchildren in May, only a few months before his passing.
Gordon is survived by his beloved wife, Katie, his daughter, Linda, his son, Scott, grandchildren Amy and Eric, and six great-grandchildren — Leonardo, Lucas, Abigail, Vivien, Elizabeth, and Samuel.
A World War II bomber pilot, Korean War veteran, ballroom dance instructor, big band and Latin jazz enthusiast, avid golfer, world traveler, nature lover, the life of the party — Gordon lived a full life. His witty, warm persona won him, countless friends. He was a devoted husband, a warm and loving father, and a calm, indulgent, wise-cracking Grandfather. He will deeply be missed and never forgotten.
