Gary Greg Urioste (Doc), 54, of Las Vegas entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023.
Gary was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Eric Urioste and Dolores Gurule on July 3, 1969. He graduated from Chaparral High School in 1987. From a young age he began his love of motorcycle riding, water sports, and mechanics. Working with his father Eric in the garage as a young child, he learned how to weld, work on cars, and carpentry. As he grew older, his love for motorcycles did as well. He loved riding his Bike and dirt bike with his younger brother Andrew and cousins Eddie, Andrea, Mario, and Marvin. Gary also loved the water and could be found just about every weekend with family or friends at Lake Mead. He knew how to have a good time in everything that he did. He was a very loving and caring man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He worked in construction most of his life. He was a member of Local 525 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union. On June 18, 2020, Gary married Carmen Armeda-Louise DiCoio. They loved spending time together; also quality time with their family, friends, children, and grandchildren.
Gary is preceded in death by his wife Carmen Urioste, brother Mark Urioste, father Eric Urioste, maternal grandparents Procopio and Nash Gonzales, paternal grandparents Agustin and Flor Urioste, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gary is survived by his Mother Dolores Gurule, Stepfather Alfonzo Gurule, Stepmother Ginger Urioste, brothers Andrew (Mona) Urioste, Alfonzo (Anthony) Gurule, Marc (Tracy) Gurule, nephews Matthew Gurule, Ryan Rubio, Reyes Rubio and nieces Megan and Abigail Gurule, Stepbrother Chris Sheldon and Family, Stepsisters Kari Smith and Family, Monica Almanza and Family, stepdaughters Barbara-Jean, Tiffani, Trisia, Helina, Angelina and grandchildren as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 10th at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6200 Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11th at the home of Gary’s Aunt Carmen and Uncle John Gallagher, all are welcome to attend.
