Hanna (Dianna Lynne) Armstrong - Anthony

March 11, 1955 — November 12, 2021

It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that the Armstrong and Anthony families announce the sudden passing of Hanna Anthony, age 66, at home in Henderson, Nevada, on Friday, November 12, 2021. Hanna was the much loved middle daughter of the late George and Leah Armstrong; beloved wife of Reginald Anthony; loving sister of the late Dennis (1947), the late Georgina (1972) (Ralph Goos) (1972), Janie Forsythe (the late Wally, 1989) (John), the late Cheryl James (2017) (Roger), and Shelley Fletcher (Stewart); much-loved sister-in-law of Michael Anthony Sr.; adored Auntie of Carly Connor (Geoff), Heather James (Jason), Lorne James (Sarah), Meko Anthony-Turner (Anthony ), Maquilla Anthony and Michael Anthony Jr.; Great-Aunt of Clark, Kate, Caleb, Colton, Izzabel, Victor, Kayla, Anthony, Avianna, Thomas, Amaya, Melan, and Malcolm. She leaves behind many more extended family members and devoted friends in Canada, Michigan, Nevada, and California.

Hanna was a strong, generous, fun-loving person who had a real zest for life. She was born and raised on a tobacco farm near Langton, Ontario, Canada, attended high school in Tillsonburg, University and Teacher’s College in London, and earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education at Eastern Michigan University.

“Ms. Anthony” was a superbly caring, generous, and dedicated Special Education Teacher of students at St. Frances Cabrini School in Delhi, Ontario, Edmonson Community School in Willow Run, Michigan, and Bob Miller Middle School in Henderson, Nevada.

A funeral service will be held in Canada at a later date, followed by an interment in Langton Baptist Cemetery. Ferris Funeral Home, Simcoe Ontario is entrusted with arrangements.
