Harold Rey Hal Call, born May 25, 1923, in Bremerton, Wash., passed away May 18, 2013. Hal served in the U.S. Navy aboard the Tennessee during World War II, being honorably discharged in 1945. Hal served in the Midwest mission for the LDS church in 1946, dedicating 24 months in service to the Lord. He moved to Henderson in 1953 with his sweetheart, Carma, to whom he was married to for over 62 years. He was a beloved fifth and sixth grade teacher for 32 years, teaching the majority of that time at C.T. Sewell Elementary. He served faithfully in many capacities for the LDS church. As a devoted father, he taught his family how to love and serve by example. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Carma Hall Call daughter, Terry Call mother, Estella Walker Call father, Willard Call three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his sons, Clint Call and Rick Carol Call and daughters, Carma Mauss, Jacque Marc Cram and Barbara Robert Woods. He was also survived by 21 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren. The family would like to thank Creekside Hospice for the love and care they gave to our hero dad. Viewing will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 1, with services at 3 p.m., both at the LDS Chapel, 303 S. Cholla St., Henderson.
