Helen P. Stetson

Helen P. Stetson, age 80, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on October 17, 2016 after an epic battle against leukemia. She was born in Edmonton on August 23, 1936, and after living briefly in Denmark, she met her future husband in San Diego. They eventually moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she raised her son, and helped raise her grandchildren and great grand children.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert B. Stetson Sr., and survived by her son, Robert B. Stetson, Jr., daughter-in-law, Lisa Stetson, former daughter-in-law Toni Wilson, granddaughter, Stephanie Zelidon, her husband Carlos Zelidon, their children Gavin and Jaeden Zelidon, granddaughter Amanda Hunt, her husband Ryan Hunt, and grandson, Lucas Stetson.

She had a love for painting, coffee, country music, and especially for her great grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She spent her life caring for everyone she loved and put their needs above her own. Even towards the end, she was more concerned about her friend's and family's comfort than her own. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and special.

She was truly loved and special.
