Isabel Alejandra Jimenez

Isabel Jimenez, 77, of Las Vegas, passed away on May 20, 2020 in Las Vegas.

Isabel was born in Havana Cuba on March 20, 1943.

Isabel was a Medical Librarian in her native Cuba before escaping Cuba for America.  A proud American Citizen, Isabel and her family settled in Las Vegas.  While raising her family, Isabel worked in the Casino Industry as a Retail Inventory Specialist at the Sands Hotel/Casino, MGM Grand, retiring from Mandalay Bay.  Isabel was a devout Catholic that lived her life in accordance with her faith.  Isabel was a kind, compassionate and loving woman.  Isabel always had a kind word for everyone.  Her family and friends around the world are deeply saddened over her passing and will miss her desperately.

Isabel is preceded in death by her parents, Isabel and Videl Armas, and her late husband Ignacio Curbelo

Isabel is survived by her son, JoseAntonio Valeron and his husband Jackie Murphy of Henderson Nevada, son Thomas Lopez of Las Vegas. Isabel also leaves her Aunts, and many cousins and lifelong friends in Miami, Fla., and around the world.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 2, at Davis Funeral Home 6200 South Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.  Funeral Services will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Davis Memorial Park.

The family of Isabel Jimenez wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr.Ibrahim and all the nurses in the ICU unit of Henderson Hospital, Fr. John and his staff at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Henderson, Nevada.
