Jacqueline (Jacky) Lea Immordino, 68, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister and Aunt quietly passed on June 1, 2015. She entered this world on August 28, 1946 in Chicago, IL, born to Jacob and Lorraine Walker. Jacky has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1986. Jacky was best known for her philosophy that there is always someone out there that has it tougher than you and that they could use some support and kindness to make their lives a little bit easier. After the passing of her best friend and the love of her life, John who preceded her in death (1994), Jacky threw all of her time, energy and efforts into supporting local schools, community activities and organizations. Through her unending efforts, many local children received their first bicycle, their first book, had a pancake breakfast with their parents, and were able to provide their families with Christmas presents that they could otherwise not afford. Most importantly, these children were able to know that someone out there was giving their all to make life better for them and their families while guiding them on the way to be good, productive citizens. It was one of her greatest joys to have a former student or one of the many children she worked with come back to see her just so that they could tell her how their lives had changed and how they had succeeded. They wanted her to see firsthand how those simple acts of kindness, guidance and support could truly make a difference in a person's life. The world is simply a much better place because of Jacky and her caring, kind, and loving efforts.
