The Life of Jacquelyn Bourgeois
Jacquelyn Diana Bourgeois was born January 21, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lillie Gibson Conerly and James Conerly Sr. She was the first born of this union, which also included the late James Conerly Jr., the late Theresa Conerly, and Lynn Conerly-Brown.
Jacquelyn accepted Christ into her life at an early age. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Dillard University to become
a teacher's assistant. ""Jackie"" as many people called her, was married in 1962 to Wallace Bourgeois and from that union they had six children:
Robin Simmons (Luther), Deana, Lana, Monica, Marty and Lamont. Wallace and Jackie moved from New Orleans to Las Vegas in 1975, seeking a
better job and life opportunities for their family.
Jackie was a fun loving and caring wife and mother. Love of family was always first to her. She was dedicated to ensuring her family was well taken care of
and loved. She departed this life on August 13, 2016 at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by both parents, two siblings: Theresa and James Conerly Jr.
and two children: Lana and Lamont. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband Wallace Bourgeois Jr., four children, Robin, Deana, Monica, and Marty, three grandchildren Phillip, Isaiah, and Ivan, and sister Lynn.
Jackie will be fondly missed by all who knew her.
May our Wife, Mon, Granny, Sister, Family Member and Friend ""Rest In Peace""
