RESOLUTION
FOR
JAMES D. HONEY EVANS
Be steadfast, unmovable
Always abounding in the Word of the Lord.
Keep on believing and trying ...
Your labor is not in vain.
Once again a link in the chain of the William W. M. Henry Comprehensive High School Alumni Association has been broken with the passing of our fellow alumnus and friend, James D. Honey Evans. We, the Officers and Members, of the Alumni Association, bow in humble submission to the will of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as we mourn this loss in our Association.
James had a pleasant personality and over the years as we heard about his accomplishments in the service and as a police officer we were proud to have known him. He had an infectious smile, he was polite, but he had a mind of his own.
To the Family:
We will all miss Honey but know that God is at your side and will supply your every need. We will keep you in our prayers and thoughts as you go through this difficult time.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:67
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution will be kept in the William Henry High School Alumni Association archives and copies will be given to his sister and fellow alumna, Marion Evans Proffitt, and to his family to distribute as they see fit.
Sorrowfully submitted,
