James R. Fleming

James Fleming, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at his home July 17, 2011 at the age of 76. He was born February 6, 1935 in Los Angeles, California.

After graduation, Jim served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 19531963. He later moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he worked for 30 years at Ford Motor Company. After retirement he moved to Henderson, Nevada in 2003.

Jim enjoyed a good game of golf, loved to bowl and liked to watch old movies.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly, a sister, Ollie Jean Miller of Arizona, a brother, Donald Fleming of California. Five children, Michael Fleming of Florida, Kenneth Fleming of Texas, Jackie Fleming, Vickie Fleming, and Kelly Cogan of Missouri. Jim had 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh Fleming and Richard Fleming both of California.

Funeral services are Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Davis Funeral Home and interment at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
