James Edward Harris

James Edward Harris Ed was born on May 22, 1922 in Farmville, North Carolina. He passed away on August 4, 2011 in Henderson, Nevada. He fought a hard battle with brain cancer.

Ed is survived by his four children, James Jr., Jeffrey Thomas, David C., and Joanne Port and his wife Sophia Jean Glovas. He has 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Ed had a wonderful life. He grew up in North Carolina, then, moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1956, he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii in the late sixties, and then finally in 1990 he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ed was a Construction Engineer by trade and loved to travel.

There will be an Inurnment placement service with members of the family on August 29, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Davis Funeral Home Memorial Park, 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
