James Kealoha Lancaster, 85, of Hilo, Hawaii, passed away Feb. 24, 2014, in Las Vegas. He was a longtime resident of Las Vegas, having also lived in French Camp, Calif., and spent many years working on Johnston Island Atoll before his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a butcher. James is survived by a son, Mathew Espinda of Waianae, Hawaii his brothers, Alexander Alika Lancaster of Hilo and Donald Lancaster Kealoha of Henderson sisters, Sarah Capone of Hilo and Mary Kalauli of Honolulu and many nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:30 a.m.noon Sunday, March 16, with a memorial to follow, both at Reflame Ministry, 953 E. Sahara Ave., F1, Las Vegas. The scattering of James cremated remains is pending in May in Hilo. Family requests no flowers. Condolences may be sent to Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
