James Tilley

James “Jim” Alan Tilley, 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away in his home on July 12, 2024. Jim was born on October 28, 1944, in Portland, Oregon to Warren and Bessie Jean Tilley, née Alexander. At 18 years of age, Jim enlisted in the United States Airforce. Jim enjoyed WWE wrestling, fishing, and camping and he loved animals. From a young age, he was an avid pigeon fancier. During his lifetime he raised various types of pigeons as well as enjoyed feeding the wild birds in his backyard. Jim was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Paulina Ruth Tilley. He is survived by his loving children, daughter Paula Tilley, son James Tilley, daughter Bonnie Tilley, his grandchildren Joshua Tilley, Mark Tilley, Shelby Combs, Emma Tepel, brother Jack Tilley, and his sister Linda Boles. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at Davis Memorial Park on August 7, 2024, at 10:00 am. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and honor his memory.
