Janet Louise Day

Janet Day, 76, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on September 18, 2019, in Las Vegas.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 25, 1943, to Theron Brown and Ellen Louise Brown. Janet graduated from Mount Clemens High School in 1961 and was married to Grant Day for 54 years. She was a long-time member of First Good Shepard Lutheran Church and Christ the Servant Lutheran Church where she was a member of the choir and an active volunteer.  Also, she worked downtown to assist the homeless and volunteered in the thrift store in Panguitch, Utah. Janet loved to play cards and games with her grandchildren and neighbors at her cabin in Panguitch Lake, Utah.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Grant Day, her parents Theron Brown and Ellen Louise Brown, and her brothers, Michael Brown and Thomas Brown. Janet is survived by her three sons, Trent Day and his wife Christine, Todd Day and his wife Tina, and Thomas Day and his wife Lisa. She is also survived by brothers and sisters: David Brown, Don Brown, Dennis Brown, Kenneth Brown, and Joyce Brown. She had 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
