Janice Jan Standley, 65, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010. She was born April 14, 1945, in Kankakee, Ill., and was a 56year resident of Las Vegas.
She was the daughter of Frances Morgan and Clarence Emhouser. Jan was a registered nurse who worked her entire 43year career at Sunrise Hospital. She was a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School, class of 1963.
Jan will be remembered by her family and friends as a hard working, giving and loving person. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Jan was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Jan is survived by her husband, of 42 years, James A. Standley daughters, Jennifer Cameron Norcross of Reno, and Jessica Joseph Monsour of Las Vegas and three grandchildren, Kylie Norcross, Jacob Norcross and Madison Norcross.
A reception will follow the services at the home of Jessica and Joseph Monsour.
Jan will be dearly missed and loved by all who knew her.
