Born January 7, 1946, age 77 years passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at her home in Henderson, NV. Hailing from New York, she was a graduate of Mary Mount Manhattan majoring in Art History and Spanish. Daughter to Joseph and Janet, and sister to Charleston.
Jenny Q aka “Q” aka “Q Bird” as she was affectionately known leaves behind her four beloved children, Alexander (Dominique), Nicholas, Lara (Brendan) and Maximillian and her cherished grandchildren, Kyra, Max, Leo, Hadley, and Briggs. She also leaves her dearest companion animal, McDuff.
Q, was a member of the Woman’s Athletic Club of Chicago for 40 years, The Service Club of Chicago, and a successful and knowledgeable Real Estate Agent holding licenses in both Illinois and Nevada.
Well travelled and full of zest, Jenny loved to explore the globe, cook, listen to music, dine at the finest restaurants, share her spirit and joy with others. She loved roses, Aruba, piano bars, and a good martini with blue cheese olives. She was generous and kind to everyone she encountered offering the hat of her head to anyone in need. Jenny had a smile that shone brighter than the brightest rays of the sun. To know her was to love her. And to cross paths meant you would be blessed with kindness and genuine love.
Master of Jeopardy and the New York Times crossword puzzle, Jenny loved to read, dance, sing and laugh. With a sense of humor that could illuminate your spirit Jenny lived a life full of love and warmth sharing her bright glow with everyone she encountered.
She will be honored and remembered in the cities she loved beginning with Las Vegas, NV on April 7, 2023. Viewing to be held 2-4pm with a service to follow.
