Jere Wales

Jere Wales passed away on Sunday, December 20th 2020 at her home in Las Vegas. Born on October 22nd, 1955, Jere grew up in Clark before moving to Roselle Park and raising two children, Jeff and Christie. She was an active member of the Methodist Church in Roselle Park and a caring nursery school teacher before moving to Colts Neck and other areas of Monmouth County. Jere loved her kids, whether they were her two children or any of her four-legged children. Jere enjoyed helping people and would be there for anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jayne Wales in 2003, brother, Billy Wales in 2008, and her father, Edward Wales in 2017. She is survived by her son, Jeff Gettis, her daughter, Christie Schwenck, her son-in-law, Bill Schwenck, her grandchildren, Sullivan, Watson, and Kennedy, and her nieces and nephew.

Funeral services will be held on February 18th at 11am. Please join us at Fairview Cemetary in Westfield, NJ. Procession will begin from the 1100th East Broad St entrance.
