Jeremiah Abraham Gantos, 38, passed away October 23, 2017, with his family and friends by his side as a result of complications of a motorcycle accident in Las Vegas, NV.

Services will be held as the following:

Viewing and Visitation
at Davis Funeral Home
6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119
On Friday, Nov. 3, from 4p-8p.

Funeral Services will be held
at Oasis Baptist Church 1620 w. Sunset Rd. Ste.100, Henderson, Nv, 89014
On Saturday, Nov. 4, at 10 am.

We will have a procession from the church up to Cowboy Trail Rides in Red Rock Canyon for the reception.

Please wear Kansas City Chiefs gear or red & yellow.

Jeremiah was born September 20,1979 in Kansas City, Mo. to his parents, mother Bonnie Schauperl(husband Bill) and father Lawrence Gantos (wife Jan). He moved to Las Vegas in 1998.

Jeremiah loved greatly his wife, Jessica, his family, his dogs, his friends, his job
and co-workers, his team the Kansas City Chiefs, and good BBQ, which he often made for his family and friends. He was extremely compassionate to the needs of others and loved soaking up life with his family and friends.

He attended high school at Olathe East, where he was a diver on the diving team.


He began his career in the medical field working as a transporter of patients at Sunrise Hospital. He climbed the medical ladder and spent many years in the Cath Lab. He went on to spend 5 years working for Bioscence Webster as an educator, and then returned to his first love, the Cath Lab. He was recently promoted to Lead Tech at Henderson Hospital. He loved his job and the opportunity he had to save people's lives on a daily basis. He ended his life in the same selfless way by donating many of his organs to save the lives of others.

Jeremy, is survived by his wife Jessica Gantos and their 4 legged babies Brandon, Canyon, Slinky and Timber; his mother and step-dad, Bonnie and Bill Schauperl; his father and step-mother Larry and Jan Gantos; his beloved in-laws Jim and Georgie Sage;his father and mother in law John & Cindy Reina; his brothers Larry Gantos (wife Keila), Matthew Gantos(wife Krystol), and Curtis Gantos; sister Anita DeGhelder (husband Chris) and nieces and nephews Ezra, Liberty, Jonathan, Bonnie, Isaiah, and Alisa. He is also survived by many extended family, friends, and co-workers who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his cousin Angela Robinson, and grandparents Dora Tiemann, Amelia Jurado, Marie and Abraham Gantos, step grandfather Alex and uncle William Cox.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to aid his wife during this very difficult time.
