Jeremias G. Evangelista Jr.

Jeremias G. ""Jerry"" Evangelista Jr., 57, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017.



One of twelve children, Jerry was born on September 8, 1959 to Consuelo and Jeremias Sr. in Pampanga, Philippines. He immigrated to the United States in the early 1990's. During his life, he called Nebraska, Maryland, Georgia and Nevada home. Jerry was known for his meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness. He was stern but was always concerned for the well-being of his loved ones. Jerry was a proud member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo). He performed his duties as choir leader and deacon devotedly. With his welcoming handshake and conversation, he easily befriended people. His presence will be missed by everyone lucky enough to have known him.



He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-two years, Angela; one beloved son, Aaron ""A.J."" Jeremiah; five brothers - Sonnie (Lita), Arthur, Edgar (Lenny), Willie (May) and Erwin (Josie); five sisters - Myrna, Carmelita, Elizabeth, Luzviminda and Consuelo (Clay); and a host of family and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents - Consuelo and Jeremias Sr., elder brother - Jacob, sisters- in-law - Beth and Janet, and brothers-in-law - Roland, Leneir and Rafael.



The Nevada visitation for family and friends will be held at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park - Las Vegas on Sunday, 1/29/2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Georgia visitation and burial will be scheduled in February 2017. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be given directly to his wife, Angela Evangelista or mailed to her at 3050 Cerone Ct, Las Vegas NV 89141.
