Jerry Hugh Bradford

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Jerry Hugh Bradford, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 2, 2010, at Centennial Hills Hospital.

He was born April 25, 1929, in Centerline, Michigan, and was a 50year resident of Las Vegas.

Jerry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was retired from the U.S. Post Office, where he was a letter carrier.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Luella Bradford sister, Betty Chansler and an infant daughter, Betty Lu.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, of 55 years, Sara children, Sharon Bill Childress of Canton, Mo., Sandra Ibarra of Logandale, and Beverly Bruce Hoffrichter and Jerrie Neely, both of Las Vegas grandchildren, Billy Lisa Childress, Tabitha Scott Hoewing, Julie Mayorga, Jaclyn Mayorga, Jason Kiera Umphlett, Jerry Neely and Justin Ibarra and greatgrandchildren, Sara Childress, Austin Hoewing, Austin Lehman, Jordan Moses, Jacob Childress, Sydnee Hoewing, Zoey Umphlett and Jadyn Neely.
