U.S. Air Force, Retired Jesse Glenn Campbell, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away July 19, 2011. He was born August 27, 1935, in Surrey Co., N.C., and was a 37year resident of Nevada.
Jesse served four years in the U.S. Navy during he Korean War. He retired as a master sergeant of the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service, serving during the Vietnam War. After retirement from Nellis Air Force EOD, he worked as an engineer at Harrahs retiring from Local Union 501. He was active in Senior United and a member of VFW and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neda and Fred sister, Katy son, Gary and grandson, James.
Jesse was married 17 years to his wife, Ann, who survives him. Other survivors include his children, Michael, Neda Imber, Mark, Donna Maynard and John stepchildren, Angela Peterson, Robert Snowden and Clinton Snowden 26 grandchildren 10 greatgrandchildren former wife, Wanda sisters, Mae Ricks and Julie Vehaun of North Carolina and nieces, nephews and cousins.
