Jimmie Ellsworth Brown

TSGT. JIMMIE BROWN U.S. Air Force, Retired Jimmie E. Brown, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 13, 2013. He was born June 22, 1938, in Baxter Springs, Kan., to Ellsworth Brown and Letha Hurst. Jimmie married Beverly Tharp Aug. 26, 1960, in Cincinnati. He was a 20year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a 22year member of AA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a greatgranddaughter, Savannah. Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Tharp sons Jimmie Jr. of Arizona, John Karen of Montana, and Paul Ida of Arizona sisters, Violet Terrill of Nevada, and Rose Huver of South Dakota brother, George Ruth of California sisterinlaw, Judy John brotherinlaw, John Tharp Trish of Kentucky nine grandchildren seven greatgrandchildren numerous nieces and nephews and Skooter, the dog. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.noon Friday, Dec. 27, with services following, both at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial following at Davis Memorial Park.
