John James Alaimo

John James Alaimo, 89, of Las Vegas Nevada passed away on December 27, 2018 at his home.
John was born in Brighton New York to John Alaimo and Concetta Iuppa on May 17, 1929.
John received presidential citation from President Kennedy for saving the Thresher Submarine. he was on the wrestling team in high school and coached his three daughters in track.
John is survived by his daughters Sherry Lynn Alaimo, Sandra Booth, and Stephanie Alaimo; granddaughter Jena Brannon and husband Patrick Brannon; grandsons Justin Jones and Matthew Jones; great grandchildren Makennzi, Kole, Taylor, and Ariann.
Funeral Service will be held on January 4th at 8:00 AM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery chapel with burial to follow.
